Loggio, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Loggio", "we", "us", "our"), operates the Loggio AI-powered PLC troubleshooting system and the logg.io website (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our Service.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account and Contact Information
When you create an account or purchase a Loggio, we collect:
- Name, email address, phone number
- Company name and job title
- Shipping address and billing/Accounts Payable contact information
- Digital signature and IP address (collected at agreement signing)
1.2 Payment Information
Credit card and payment details are processed directly by Stripe, Inc. and are never stored on Loggio's servers. We receive only a tokenized reference and basic transaction metadata (amount, date, status) from Stripe.
1.3 Machine and Industrial Data
When you use the Loggio service, you may upload or transmit:
- PLC program files (L5X, ACD)
- Engineering drawings (DWG, PDF)
- Equipment manuals (PDF)
- Live PLC tag values read from your machines during troubleshooting sessions
This data is proprietary to you and is treated as confidential business information under the Master Services Agreement you review and sign during checkout.
1.4 Usage and Analytics Data
We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including:
- Session duration and feature usage patterns
- Troubleshooting outcomes and resolution data
- Pages visited and interactions within the portal
- Device type, browser type, and IP address
1.5 Voice Calls
Where a customer asks us to contact someone at their site, for example to arrange network access for a diagnostic tool, we place an automated call to the number the customer provides. We record those calls and keep a written transcript, so that the technical details discussed are accurate. Before we save it, the transcript goes through an automated redaction step that removes technical security details: network addresses, passwords, and access codes. Business contact details given during the call (the name, telephone number and email address of the person we called) are kept, so we can tell which call a transcript belongs to and confirm later what was given to us. The call itself states that it is an automated caller from Loggio and who asked us to make it.

2. How We Use Your Information
- Providing the Service: Processing your machine files, delivering AI-powered troubleshooting analysis, managing your account and subscription.
- Billing and Fulfillment: Processing payments, shipping hardware, sending invoices, and managing subscriptions.
- Product Improvement: Analyzing anonymized and aggregated usage patterns to improve the Loggio product. We do not use your machine files or PLC programs for this purpose.
- Communication: Sending service-related notifications, renewal reminders, support communications, and (with your consent) information about product updates.
- Legal Compliance: Complying with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes.
3. AI and Third-Party Data Processing
The Loggio service uses artificial intelligence to analyze your machine data. To provide this capability, portions of your uploaded files and machine data, in different forms, may be transmitted to third-party providers during processing.
The commercial agreements we have in place with our cloud service providers require them to delete your data immediately after use, except for cases of automatic abuse flagging, which can trigger up to 30 days of retention for offline abuse detection. Your data is never used for training AI. A current list of our providers, with what each receives and their retention terms, is available on request at [email protected].
Loggio does not train any AI models on your data.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information or your machine data. We share information only in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: We use third-party services to operate the Loggio platform, including cloud hosting, payment processing, AI processing (as described in Section 3), telecommunications, advertising measurement, and shipping carriers. These providers access only the minimum data necessary to perform their functions. A current list of our service providers is available on request at [email protected].
- Advertising measurement: We use advertising platforms to measure the effectiveness of our advertising on our public website. They receive information about visits that arrive from their advertising. They do not receive your machine data, your uploaded files, or anything from the signed-in portal.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or government regulation, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of Loggio, our customers, or the public.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on servers located in the United States. All connections are encrypted in transit (TLS), and data at rest lives on full-disk-encrypted storage, and payment details never touch our servers (Section 1.2). The Loggio product itself contains no operation that writes to a controller, so your machine programs cannot be altered through us.
While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
- Your Uploads: We do not keep your uploaded files. Your PLC programs, drawings, and manuals are analyzed and processed into our proprietary formats, and the uploaded copies are immediately deleted.
- Active Accounts: We retain your data for the duration of your subscription and account.
- After Termination: Upon termination of your subscription, all data we have about your machines will be archived within thirty (30) days and permanently deleted within six (6) months. You can request earlier deletion by contacting [email protected].
- Account Information: Basic account and billing records may be retained for up to seven (7) years as required for tax, legal, and regulatory compliance.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Portability: Request your data in a portable format.

8. State-Specific Disclosures
California (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell your personal information for money. California law also treats some advertising measurement as "sharing" personal information, and our public website uses advertising measurement cookies as described in Section 9. You can decline them when you arrive, or change your choice at any time using the link in our website footer.
Other U.S. States
Residents of Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have similar rights. Contact us at [email protected] to exercise these rights.
9. Cookies and Tracking
The Loggio customer portal uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. It uses no advertising cookies of any kind.
Our public website at logg.io may use cookies from various advertising platforms which those platforms require for attributing visitor traffic to the correct advertising platform. We do not permit cookies which show you ads elsewhere after you visit. You can accept or decline these cookies when you arrive, and change your choice at any time.
10. Children's Privacy
The Loggio service is designed for business use by industrial maintenance professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active customers via email at least thirty (30) days before they take effect.
